If you take a walk along Regent’s canal, be sure to hop off at Labrunum Road to enjoy Bobbie Fennick’s two carved monoliths located on Swimmers Lane by the Haggerston Baths.
We’re delighted that the two large sculptures look so incredible and beautiful now they are installed!
We celebrated the installation at the occasion of the launch of the Haggerston Community Centre, which was well attended by residents, L&Q senior management, Hackney Homes representatives and local Councillors. All had only good words to say about Bobbie’s Works.
The launch was also a great opportunity for Creative City to exhibit the process of creating this project. Thanks to beautiful photography by resident Elam Forrester, and Bobbie Fennick’s ‘Window’ sample, we installed a stunning exhibition in the Community Centre.
